LCS 2023 Spring Split Preview: Cloud9

Cloud9 are the defending LCS champions after winning the previous split. They will look to repeat that success again when the season begins.

Projected Starters:

Top: Fudge

Fudge was with C9 last split and will look to continue his starting duties at top in 2023.

Jungler: Blaber

Blaber was with C9 last split and will look to continue his starting duties in the jungle for them again this year.

Mid: Diplex

Diplex was with Vitality’s academy team last split and will be getting the chance to start in the LCS after being acquired by C9 over the offseason.

Bot: Berserker

Berserker was with the team last split and will look to continue his solid play at ADC when the new season begins.

Support: Zven

Zven was with the team last split and will be returning to continue his bottom lane partnership with Berserker as C9’s starting support.

C9 returns most of its championship team and as a result will likely be right back in the thick of things when the season begins. The only question mark is their new mid, but we think the stability around him will make for an easier acclimation to the higher competition.
