LCS 2023 Spring Split Preview: Team Liquid

Team Liquid finished with 12 wins and made the playoffs last split. They’ve revamped their roster with the hope of finding a spark this season.

Projected Starters:

Top: Summit

Summit was with FPX last split. He was acquired over the offseason by TL and will be starting at top for them when the season begins.

Jungler: Pyosik

Pyosik was with DRX winning a World Championship last split. He was acquired by TL over the offseason and will be starting in the jungle for them this season.

Mid: Haeri

Haeri was with TL’s academy team last split. He is getting the call up to compete in the LCS this season and will be starting at mid for TL.

Bot: Yeon

Yeon was also with TL’s academy team last split. He will be getting the call up to start at ADC for TL this season.

Support: CoreJJ

CoreJJ has been the one constant for TL over the years. He will be returning again this season to start at support for them once more.

If there’s one thing you can expect from TL, it’s that they will go out and get players. That’s exactly what they did this offseason and it has them poised to compete this year. This time, though, they’ve also sprinkled in some young talent from their organization. It’s nice to see, but we think it will result in a slightly weaker team than last split. But given time, it could possibly develop into something far greater.

Projected Finish: Playoff Team
